WEA (Germany) 1982
WEA A 58 389 (LP) w/original inner sleeve.
sleeve : EX(SOC,TEOC)

This is the second album released in 1982 by Gandalf, an Austrian synthesizer player who has produced fantastic new age electronic works in the same vein as Andreas Vollenweider. He joined by flutist Robert Julian Horky and tabla player Jatinder Thakur, both of whom would go on to play on later albums, and their ethnic blend of delicate and epic symphonic sound takes the listener to another world. This is a masterpiece of the band's early years. A beautiful new age electronic music with a spiritual and peaceful sound that unfolds like a story. Acoustic guitars, sitar and tabla sounds organically blend with synthesizer sounds, which is what Gandalf is all about.
