This album was released in 1980 by Between, a contemporary music group from Germany led by Peter Michael Hamel. This is an organic ensemble piece with 9 members including conga/tabla/tamboura players. With a soft beat of congas and minimalist phrases of acoustic piano in the background, the oboe duet intermingles beautifully in A1, and the flute and clavier float gently and mysteriously in the minimalist refrain of upright bass and guitar in B2.
