The album contains material recorded that same year at the Radio Bremen studio in Bremen. Rather than playing his principal instruments, bass and cello, Christmann demonstrates his versatility by performing exclusively on trombone. Together with Schönenberg’s drums, he sends sounds radiating outward as though giving expression to all the phenomena of the natural world, carefully navigating the spaces between stillness and motion.
