The tar is played by Daryoush Tala’i, who has collaborated with Maurice Bejart and Michel Portal, among others, and the zarb is played by Djamchid Chemirani. Side A features a performance of \"Dastgâh-e Shûr,\" the most important and fundamental system of \"dastgâh\" (melodic patterns\/modes) in Iranian traditional music.
