The album was released in 1985 by Le Veve International, a group formed by singer Diatho Lukoki, who debuted in the early seventies as a member of the Orchestre Mi Amor and later worked for a long time with Franco Luambo's Orchestre T.P.O.K. Jazz, and Verckys Rate. The album is a tropical rumba/soukous with Afro-Latin rhythm section and brass ensemble topped with sparkling synthesizers. The choruses by Lukoki, Assi Kapela and Djo Mpoyi are great, but Le Veve International's playing is just superb. Some of the songs are played with machine beats.
