Rava is joined by Franco D’Andrea on piano, Furio Di Castri on bass, and Aldo Romano on drums and guitar. Highlights include the light and beautifully flowing, bossa-inflected B1 and B2, featuring a superbly bright piano solo from D’Andrea. A warm and inviting album, with a relaxed atmosphere that drifts gently through the entire performance. The occasional bursts of free improvisation are characteristically Rava—playful and full of wit.
