A masterpiece of remarkable beauty and delicacy, the album creates a vivid acoustic space in which the three musicians layer their melodic lines as though painting a landscape in pale, subtle colors. The interplay between Lande’s piano and Peacock’s bass is especially captivating, with the two exchanging solos almost like an intimate conversation.
