Featuring a 14-piece ensemble including Jerome Harris on guitar, Stanton Davis on trumpet, Ray Anderson on trombone, and Victor Lewis on drums, the album presents spiritual big band jazz that also absorbs elements of jazz-rock and jazz-funk.
