Released in 1986 on the independent label Die Mühle, this 12-inch single comes from Heidinasch, an all-female four-piece group active around the Japanese indie new wave\/post-punk scene of the early to mid-1980s. Built around vocals, guitar, piano, synthesizer, bass, violin and percussion, the music carries that unmistakable period flavour of Japanese indie new wave, with coquettish, ennui-laced “heta-uma” vocals at the front.
