This recording features sessions with gagaku musicians Shiba Sukeyasu (ryūteki, yokobue), Bunno Hideaki (shō), and Okubo Nagao (hichiriki). In addition to various flutes and piccolo, Hinze also performs on the Indian bamboo flute. Opening with a bass flute solo, the album flows into “Hyojō no Netori” as a prologue to gagaku, and then transitions into an original composition by Hinze.
