Palle Danielsson (b) and Jon Christensen (dr) also participate. A standout track is B2, a masterful performance exceeding 20 minutes, covering Don Cherry's famous song \"Desireless,\" which was included in his album \"Organic Music Society.\" This is a profoundly spiritual jazz piece, with Garbarek's intense spirituality adding to the song's message. Garbarek's ever-expanding saxophone and Stenson's piano, along with Danielsson's bass and Christensen's drums, are superb; it somehow reminded me of John Coltrane as I listened. The aggressive performances of songs by Carla Bley and Jim Pepper are also excellent. This is a German pressing with an uncoated jacket and LC logo.
