Kobeta Piano is the unit of Soft's KND, keyboardist Shoichi Murakami and drummer/percussionist Watz Uematsu, who recently performed an excellent live show at Shimokitazawa Spread with DJ Kensei's trio <Kokenshow>. This is their 1st album, and recorded at Kyoto's live venue called Viva la musica, and Soft's own studio. The album features modular electronics, drum machines, live percussion and electric piano/synthesizers. The soundscapes are unique and different from either free jazz or electronica.
