A double-guitar quartet featuring Bill Frisell and John Scofield on guitars and Peter Erskine on drums. Highlights include A1, where Frisell and Scofield’s electric guitars intertwine organically over an open and spacious rhythm section, and B3, where Frisell’s guitar synthesizer floats through the space above a shadowy reggae beat. With its edgy, solid sound resonating across an exceptionally wide sonic field, this masterpiece presents a compelling vision of abstract electric jazz.
