This is a project by Mitsuru Sawamura, a saxophonist who was the first member of Interior, a new wave\/ambient unit that debuted on Yen Medium in 1982, produced by Haruomi Hosono, and after leaving the unit, continued to work as a touring member for Ryuichi Sakamoto, Katsumi Watanabe, and Yukihiro Takahashi. The only album by Mitch Live, released in 1986. At the time, the album was marketed as instrumental rock, but it is a wonderful work filled with a variety of ideas and experiments that cannot be fully contained by such words.
