The album primarily features his original compositions, along with unique interpretations of John Coltrane's \"Giant Steps\" and Dizzy Gillespie's \"Con Alma.\" Throughout, Gumbs delivers lyrical and melancholic piano solos, filled with fragile yet beautiful melodies, making this a remarkable work. Highly recommended.
