First solo album released in 1981 by Congolese guitarist/guinger Pablo Lubadika Porthos, who made his debut in the early seventies as a member of Orchestre Lovy Du Zaire and later played with Orchestre Kara De Kinshasa and Sam Mangwana's L'African All Stars. It features Master Mwana Congo and Lea Lignanzi. The album is full of danceable tropical soukous with flowing electric guitars, warm vocals and choruses, and grooves influenced by Nigerian Afro-beats. The Lingala spoken word is jolly and fun, and the 4 beat rhythm is DJ friendly as it hits firmly and steadily.
