Released on the Fluid label, which released several albums in the late 70's, including works by Archie Shepp and Max Roach. The trio is composed of bassist Dave Holland and drummer Barry Altschul, with whom Rivers has played together many times since the release of this album. The trio's music is full of surprises, such as A1, a mysterious ethno-jazz track with ethnic percussion, bass and flute layered with unstable melodies, and B1, a rare track that features Rivers' piano playing.
