This is a leader album released in 1976 by Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, a pianist who became a professional musician in 1967 at the age of 19, and played with Kimiko Kasai, Minami Yasuda, and Guess My Fines. The album is a piano trio work featuring Ben Okada (b) and Hiroshi Murakami (ds), who were young hopefuls at the time. All the songs are covers of Cliford Browon, George Garshwin, Benny Golson and others. They plays contemporary jazz with modal arrangements, but the trio's individuality is fully utilized in their performance, which is very impressive and makes for a pleasant listening experience without being overbearing throughout. The sound quality is also very good.
