Born in Milan, Italy, Roberto Cacciapaglia laid the foundations of composition and electronic music through his work at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, directed by Bruno Bettinelli, at RAI, the national television station in Milan, and at the national research institute in Pisa. He was discovered by Rolf-Urrich Kaiser, the initiator of the psychedelic sessions in which Klaus Schulze and Manuel Gottsching participated, and since the release of his first album in 1974, he has been a revolutionary creative force in the Italian contemporary music scene. This is a double album released in 1986, Cacciapaglia pursues a minimal contemporary style without using any electronics, and creates a lyrical landscape with layers of very beautiful melodies featuring a full orchestra and a soprano singer. It is a great work of grand operatic neo-classical music in the tradition of Italian opera. However, the method is full of experimental spirit, and the minimalistic design, which is similar to Steve Reich, is similar to the historical masterpiece "Sei Note in Logia" released in 1979.
