This album was released in 1989 by Almir Sater, a guitarist from Campo Grande in the state of Mato Grosso in mid-western Brazil. While his instrumental guitar works full of new age sensibility are also very impressive, this album features his own roots in American traditional music such as country/folk/blues, infused with a taste of Brazilian music, and vocal songs with a crisp air. The sound is very warm and pleasant. I highly recommend the slow numbers A4 and B4, in which the gentle floating sensation of the acoustic guitar, bass and piano seems to soar to the heavens. (Chee)
A4: Um Violeiro Toca
B4: Bolada
