This album was released in 1986 under the supervision of the late Toyo Nakamura, one of the foremost critics of ethnic music and world music in Japan. The album is a compilation of material left behind by Antobal's Cubans, a Cuban group led by Obdulio Morales, in the 30's, and contains all 16 songs recorded on the 8 SP discs released in Japan at that time. This is a rare opportunity to experience authentic old Latin music on LP. This kind of series on the Soup Records is really wonderful.
