Album released in 1977 by American drummer Beaver Harris, who gave exceptional performances on numerous sessions with Archie Shepp, Marion Brown and Grachan Moncur III. Except for one track featuring David S. Ware's tenor saxophone, all of the tracks were Harris' drum solos, and he switched between brushes, mallets and sticks on each track, fully expressing his distinctive touch and showcasing his primitive and powerful African drumming. This is a must for those who like Toshiyuki Tsuchitori's 'Ajagara - Solo Drums'.
