A new release has arrived from Lobby Art Editions, the Brooklyn-based label founded by Sam Wenc, who also serves as the label director of Mississippi Records. This is the first full-length album by Ben Bennett, an improvisational percussionist known for his participation in numerous collaborative projects. Using self-built instruments constructed from minimal materials, Bennett creates experimental percussion music rooted in the lineage of extended technique performance, developing a truly singular approach.
