The debut album by French guitarist Benoit Schlosberg, released in 1984. He began performing in concerts at the age of 14 and later worked across various fields, including classical music and film scoring. I had never heard of this artist before, but his music is truly outstanding. His compositions and arrangements are highly dramatic, infused with strong influences from Brazilian music. Flowing guitar melodies reminiscent of Egberto Gismonti and Stenio Mendes intertwine with graceful violin and flute lines, creating an organic and genre-transcending acoustic masterpiece. Highly recommended.
