He was discovered by Miles Davis and played on important albums such as In a Silent Way, Bitches Brew and On the Corner, and also created a fusion boom with his own leader album Return to Forever, released in 1972. Jazz pianist Chick Corea released this album in 1971 as his first release after moving to ECM. As the title suggests, the album is a masterpiece of free improvised piano solos, and Corea's religious views and spirituality really come through. It is a place where you want to face the sound with an open mind. This is probably the second edition produced in the same year, but the same master plate as the first edition seems to have been used.
