Christian Lavigne is a French pianist who has played on Michel Marre's 1985 album "Y'a Quelpu'un Dans La Cabane", which was featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION", and Doudou Gouirand's . The trio with Henri Texier, a famous bassist, and Jacques Mahieux, a drummer, plays modal post-bop music, but it is sublimated into spiritual jazz with very deep communion. As is the case with the two aforementioned works, there is a lot of good French jazz around here. Try A2 and B1 first. Henri Texir's bass is the best.
