Halved
Placebo Records (US) 1986

sleeve : EX+(some very small and slightly dirts, still good condition.)
media : EX-/EX(some slightly surface noises. side A has slightly curve that does not affect to playback.)

A split album released on Placebo Records in 1986, featuring tracks by Controlled Bleeding, a New York-based experimental noise band formed in Boston, USA, in 1978, and the post-industrial group Maybe Mental, led by David Oliphant, who has also done some great work with the Sun City Girls as a collaborative unit. Side A's Controlled Bleeding, is a heavy dub with a deeply reverbed, three-dimensional sound that can also be heard on their other albums. The album is a dark, matter-of-fact industrial sound with deep reverb and a three-dimensional sound that can also be heard on other albums. Side B's Maybe Mental is a contemporary, contemporary album featuring acoustic piano, from crazy industrial noise with metallic, noisy sounds and bizarre voice collages to a more contemporary, contemporary sound featuring acoustic piano. We recommend B3, which is reminiscent of Aksak Mabul and Benjamin Lew of Belgium's Crammed Discs, with its ethnic melodies strangely echoing with some kind of sound reminiscent of the ancient times.
