This is a live album of the concert held in Berlin, Germany in 1968 by Eternal Rhythm Group led by Don Cherry, a master of folk jazz. Featuring gamelan and other ethnic instruments, this is a rare live recording of the early days of Don Cherry's devotion to ethnic music. As the title suggests, this is an eternal rhythm that has been around since ancient times and never stops. This is the first Japanese edition released on Columbia's MPS Jazz & Bossa Nova Series in 1970.
