This was introduced in the first edition of the guidebook "obscure sound". This album was released in 1980 by German bass player Eberhard Weber, featuring Charlie Mariano(ss,ft), Rainer Bruninghaus(p,synth), John Marshall(ds,perc). The most moving of the songs is A2, which begins with a gently dancing soprano saxophone intro, followed by an emotional first half of synthesizer arpeggios intertwined with a fantastic piano backing, and ends with a cosmic synth arpeggio and earthy, ethereal melody. The flute soars to the heavens in the middle part of the piece, and finally returns to the first part of the piece for a grand trance jazz. All parts are perfect, especially Rainer Bruninghaus' synthesizer, which contributes greatly to the soundscape of this piece.

B1: A Dark Spell
