This album was released in 1991 by the Egberto Gismonti Group, featuring guitarist/pianist Egberto Gismonti, one of Brazil's greatest treasures, along with Jacques Morelenbaum, Nano Carneiro and Zeca Assumpcao. The album features songs from his 1988 album "Danca dos Escravos" and a new arrangement of the opening track from his classic album "Feixe De Luz" with Academia De Dancas. Gismonti's talent as a composer is on full display on this album. The adjective "jazz" no longer has any meaning at all.
