Enrico Rava, one of Italy's most famous jazz trumpeters, released his second album as a quartet on ECM in 1979.The quartet consists of Franco D'Andrea (piano), Giovanni Tommaso (b), Bruce Ditmas (ds) and Enrico Rava (trumpet). The quartet is based on European modern music with bass and piano as the core, but each part seems to be in a free stance in the session.
