This album was released in 1986 by Raimundo Fagner, a singer from Ceará in the northeast of Brazil, and as is the case with all MPB artists, Fagner's songs and sound have shifted to a more pop-oriented style. It's like the glittering '80s sound is in full swing while incorporating reggae and other elements, but the sound of the slow ballads and other slow tracks is very Brazilian and soothing. I recommend A4, where Fagner's austere voice sings with the clear sound of accordion, acoustic guitar and synth pads in the background, and A5, which is an urban mellow ballad with a flowing orchestral sound and an elegant air of maturity.
