This was released in 1993 as a 12" single by American saxophonist Frank Lowe, who has left behind an impressive body of solo and leader work, including appearances on Don Cherry's Ralativity Suite and Brown Rice, Alic Coltrane's World Galaxy, etc. It features two duo performances on one side only, with drummer Phillip Wilson of The Butterfield Blues Band, who was a member of the Art Ensemble of Chicago for a short period in the mid-1960s. The interaction between Lowe's highly emotional and lustrous tenor and Wilson's supremely groovy drums is quite different from Lowe's image up to that point. Please give it a listen.
