The second release in 1980 of a collection series compiling original compositions by shakuhachi player Hozan Yamamoto, who made great achievements through his contemporary activities beyond traditional performing arts. It includes three songs: "Shaka," "Kiku no Ga," and "Kiri no In." While the magnificent ensemble B1 "Kiri no In" with 12 koto in four parts and 6 jushichigen koto in two parts conducted by Hozan Yamamoto, and the ensemble B2 "Kiku no Ga" with 4 shakuhachi in two parts and 5 koto in two parts are excellent, the highlight of this work is undoubtedly "Shaka," a suite for Japanese instruments, percussion, and voice, which occupies the entire A-side. In addition to the participation of the Tomoyuki Okada Percussion Ensemble, known for masterpieces such as "Tenchi Seimon" in collaboration with Katsuhiro Tsubono and "Hibiki no Shiki" performing works by Yoshihiro Kanno, shakuhachi, koto, jushichigen, shamisen, and a mixed male and female chorus join in, creating a grand ensemble in three parts, lasting well over 20 minutes, expressing the Japanese spirit.
