The following year, Katsuya Yokoyama formed the Shakuhachi Sanbonkai with Hozan Yamamoto and Shizuo Aoki, transcending the boundaries of different schools of music. This album wad released in 1976. On the A-side is "Eclipse," a masterpiece composed by Toru Takemitsu for Japanese classical instruments along with "November Steps," performed by a duet with Nishikushi Tsuruta's biwa, which is over 15 minutes long. B1 is a shakuhachi solo, and B2 is a shakuhachi/koto/percussion trio composed by Yoshihiro Takaeju, with koto by Shin Miyashita and percussion by Toshio Ogura. It is a masterpiece that allows you to fully enjoy the world of avant-garde shakuhachi, which is the twin of Kuniyama Yamamoto. It comes with an 8-page booklet that includes explanations of the music and conversations. The jacket is signed by Yoshihiro Takaeju.
