King Sunny Ade and His African Beats
Togetherness (Ka Jo Se)
Sunny Alade Records (Nigeria) 1984
SALPS 42 (LP) コーティングジャケット
sleeve : EX+
media : EX/EX (slight crackling in places)

A masterpiece album released in 1984 by King Sunny Ade and His African Beats, a leading light in African Juju music from Nigeria. This is an original Nigerian pressing released on his own label, Sunny Alade Records I. Limited, and is a completely domestic Nigerian Juju work, with recording and mixing also done at Afrosdisia Studio in Lagos. While inheriting the design of the famous albums "Juju Music" and "Synchro System," the introduction of electronics is more pronounced, and the light beats of skillfully programmed drum machines combined with talking rhythms sublimate into a colorful sound that feels good. Both sides contain 4 tracks, but as usual, they are all played continuously, making them long tracks: 17 minutes and 39 seconds on side A, and 18 minutes and 33 seconds on side B, but they are never boring.

A4: Eje Kajo Se
