This is the 1st full album released in 1986 by La Dama Se Esconde, a unit formed by singer/guitarist Nacho Goberma and bassist Ignacio Valencia, who were members of the Spanish new wave band Agrimensor K, which released two singles on the DRO label. Guitarist Miguel Herrero, who left an excellent solo album on Grabaciones Accidentales's black series directed by Luis Delgado, participates as co-producer, and Suso Saiz handles the sound making as assistant producer. The album features a refreshing new wave sound with a neo-acoustic feel throughout, with straightforward 8-beat rhythms, delicate guitar sounds, and synthesizers. Recommended tracks include A3, an AOR-flavored number with a niche Balearic atmosphere, A5, reminiscent of Durutti Column with its beautiful contrast between acoustic guitar and piano, and B4, with its simple drum machine rhythm and melancholic synthesizer sound.
