his album, released in 1986, is by the renowned Indian violinist Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, known for his contributions to Carnatic music as part of a violin trio alongside M.S. Gopalakrishnan and T.N. Krishnan. He was not only a prominent performer but also a teacher with many disciples. In 2001, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan award by the Indian government. This album features traditional Carnatic instrumental music performed by GJ.R. Krishnan (violin), Vellore Ramabhadran (mridangam), and Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. It's a captivating piece where the violin weaves graceful melodies that bounce to the lively rhythms of the mridangam. The non-stop listening experience throughout the album is also a highlight. The improvisational segments are exceptional. Highly recommended.
