An album released in 1984 by M'Boom, a jazz percussion ensemble formed in 1970 with Max Roach at its center. As in previous works, a total of nine percussionists including Roy Brooks, Joe Chambers, and Ray Mantilla participate, utilizing keyboard percussion instruments such as marimba, vibraphone, and xylophone, as well as steel drums and ethnic percussion instruments from various countries. They construct tones, rhythms, and space, sometimes minimally, sometimes colorfully, sometimes showing a meditative expression, drawing a single musical landscape. It is a masterpiece among masterpieces that created a supremely organic world of sound that is both primitive and refined. Highly recommended. We have received deadstock unused items.
This product is a deadstock unused item that has been opened from its shrink wrap by our store for condition verification. Due to prolonged tightening by the shrink wrap, there is a very slight warp in one part of the outer edge of the record, but it plays back without any problems.
