This is a masterpiece album released in 1974 by the quintet of Mal Waldron, an American pianist who was active on the front line for almost 50 years from the 1950s to the early 2000s. Recorded live at the East-West '74 Festival in Nuremberg, Germany, in May of the same year, the quintet features Manfred Schoof, Steve Lacy, Isla Eckinger, and Allen Blairman. A2 is 12 minutes long and B side is over 19 minutes long. This is a very realistic recording. Highly recommended.
