The first album by Marcio Proenca, a Brazilian singer-songwriter who has been active since the mid-1960s and who also sang in the chorus of the Roberto Carlos Orchestra in the late 1970s, was released in 1981. It features Lucia Lins, Aldir Blanc, Gonzaguinha and Robertotinho Silva. The album features a variety of urban sounding mellow bossa with an adult feel, including A4, a bossa jazz piece with soft touch synthesizers and electric piano, and A5, a beautiful piece with gently floating flute and melancholic keyboards. Highly recommended.
