The first album by Brazilian symphonic rock artists Marco Antonio Araujo and Grupo Mantra, released in 1981. A1 is a perfect balance of organic sounds created by roots and strings, and psychedelic electric and acoustic guitars. B1 is a beautiful, organic introduction reminiscent of Egberto Gismonti and others, which develops over time into symphonic progressive rock. The band's hard-edged, yet consistently naturalistic sound is an excellent example of the Brazilian lyrical worldview. It's a great album for those who like Vytas Blenner.
