An album released in 1978 by the Masaru Imada Quartet, led by Masaru Imada, one of Japan's world-renowned jazz pianists. Featuring Mitsuaki Furuno (b), Takuji Kusumoto (ds), and Yuji Imamura (per). This is a masterpiece of Japanese mellow jazz groove/spiritual jazz, filled with an organic world view comparable to Pharoah Sanders' classic album "Thembi". It features A2, the title track, which has a wonderful contrast between the beautiful melodies of the acoustic piano and the organic percussion, and B1, which is incredibly pleasant with its open, rhythmic drums and percussion in the background, gently grooving bass, and mellow, soaring electric piano with its lustrous tone. Highly recommended.
A2: Remember of Love
B1: Sea Weeds
B2: Little Step
