Michael Nyman is a British composer who has been highly acclaimed for his soundtracks for Peter Greenaway's films, including "Decay Music", a classic album released in 1976 on Brian Eno's Obscure label. The album was co-produced by British composer Michael Nyman and David Cunningham, who is known for his radical activities such as Flying Lizards, and released in 1985. A total of 20 musicians participated, and Nyman's original minimalism was expressed through an ensemble of horns, strings and vocals. The album has a neo-classical feel, but is considered dance music by the band. The highlight of the album is the moving three-part suite B2, which is also recommended for fans of Steve Reich and Phillip Glass.

A1: The Kiss
B2: Water Dance
