An album released in 1970 by JM Records, planned by the Hirosaki Branch of the Aomori Prefecture Composers' Association. It features works composed by Aomori-based composers such as Takeyasu Abo, Tatehide Sasamori, Mitsuo Ishida, Takashi Sato, Kiyo Kasai, and Akio Furukawa, performed by Mitsuo Ishida on flute and Tatehide Sasamori on piano. From pieces based on Tsugaru folk songs to those with themes of ancient nature worship, the music is rooted in the spiritual climate of the Tsugaru region and performed spiritually as contemporary music for flute and piano. I believe this is a very valuable avant-garde piece from a local production.
