An album released in 1965 by American pianist Morris Nanton, who made only two albums for Warner Bros. in the late 50s and three for Prestige in the 60s. The trio was formed with bassist Norman Edge, who has played on Gene Ammons' albums, and drummer Al Beldini, who has also played with Bill Evans. This is a very pleasant soul-jazz album with very light and groovy playing of standard blues, R&B, and film music numbers, and there is nothing difficult about it. This is a great piece of music that can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere from start to finish. B3, which features a famous song also known as "Exotica," is also superb. Highly recommended.
