This is a 1976 reissue of a masterpiece from the 1970s by the former Zairean group Orchestre Les Grands Maquisards, formed by Ntesa Dalienst, Lokombe Bola Bolite, and Diana Spray. All the recordings were made in the early 70's. You can enjoy the indigenous, slow and gentle grooves of early Congolese rock/rumba congolese, which combines Congolese folk music with Nigerian Afro-beats and juju, and rumba created by Cuban Africans. Excellent content. Highly recommended.
