A masterpiece album released in 1970 by Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, one of the leading santoorists of North Indian classical Hindustani music, who has been active since the 1960s and has released more than 100 works. This is a reissue from 1975, featuring tabla by Kashinath Mishra. This is a wonderful performance in which you can enjoy the beautiful sound of the santur throughout the album, from the introduction with a slow meditative melody, to the raga with the tabla that gradually rises in tension, to the final part with a gentle rhythm and warm melody after the climax. Highly recommended.
