An album released in 1969 on Prestige by Pucho & The Latin Soul Brothers, a group led by Cuban-American percussionist Henry “Pucho” Brown, who formed the band in the late 1950s and produced numerous masterpieces such as Big Stick and Jungle Fire!. This rare groove classic is a landmark Afro-Cuban jazz album that beautifully fuses the percussive rhythms of Cuban music, including mambo and cha-cha-cha, with jazz throughout. This is a U.S. reissue believed to be from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
