This is a 1995 leader album by the German saxophonist Reiner Witzel, born in Mannheim. It features Lew Soloff (tp), Christoph Adams (p), Volker Heinze (b), Felix Astor (ds), and Roland Peil (per). The album offers a wide range of sounds, from the pleasant floating sensation of soft electric piano and muted trumpet on A1 to the groovy funk rhythms with a Latin feel on B1. The tracks feature Duke T.'s rap and contemporary interpretations of cool jazz influenced by Miles Davis. It presents a new perspective on club jazz, making it an enjoyable listen for those with diverse musical tastes.
